CODE OF CONDUCT
(Applies to all members, staff, volunteers, board members, partners, and representatives)
1.1 Purpose
The Code of Conduct sets out the standards of behavior expected of all individuals associated with Peace and Humanity, ensuring professionalism, accountability, and respect for peace, humanity, and human rights.
1.2 Professional Behavior
All representatives of Peace and Humanity shall:
- Act with honesty, integrity, and responsibility at all times
- Respect cultural, religious, ethnic, and gender diversity
- Promote peace, nonviolence, and dialogue in all actions
- Avoid behavior that may harm the reputation or mission of the organization
1.3 Respect and Non-Discrimination
- Discrimination, harassment, abuse, intimidation, or exploitation of any kind is strictly prohibited
- Equal opportunity and inclusion shall be upheld in all activities
1.4 Use of Authority and Representation
- Members must not misuse their position, authority, or organizational identity
- Official representation must be authorized by Peace and Humanity
- False claims of authority or affiliation are prohibited
1.5 Confidentiality
- Confidential information related to beneficiaries, partners, donors, and internal matters must be protected
- Information may only be shared with proper authorization
1.6 Conflict of Interest
- Members must disclose any personal, financial, or professional interests that may conflict with organizational objectives
- Decisions must always prioritize the best interests of Peace and Humanity
1.7 Compliance with Laws
All activities must comply with local, national, and international laws and regulations

2.1 Core Ethical Principles
Peace and Humanity is guided by the following ethical values:
- Peace: Commitment to nonviolence, reconciliation, and conflict resolution
- Humanity: Respect for human dignity, compassion, and empathy
- Justice: Fairness, equity, and accountability in all actions
- Integrity: Transparency, honesty, and ethical leadership
- Neutrality: Non-partisan and unbiased engagement
- Inclusiveness: Respect for diversity and equal participation
2.2 Ethical Conduct
- Act in good faith and avoid misleading information
- Ensure humanitarian assistance is delivered without favoritism
- Do not exploit beneficiaries for personal, political, or financial gain
2.3 Accountability and Transparency
- Maintain accurate records and responsible use of funds
- Be accountable to beneficiaries, partners, donors, and the public
2.4 Protection of Beneficiaries
- Safeguard children, vulnerable individuals, and marginalized groups
- Zero tolerance for abuse, exploitation, or neglect
2.5 Ethical Communication
- Promote truthful, respectful, and non-inflammatory communication
- Avoid hate speech, misinformation, or incitement
RULES AND REGULATIONS

3.1 Membership
- Membership is open to individuals who support the mission and values of Peace and Humanity
- Members must agree to comply with all policies and codes
- Membership may be suspended or terminated for violations
3.2 Governance Structure
- The organization shall be governed by a Board/Executive Committee
- Decisions shall be made through transparent and democratic processes
- Leadership shall act in the best interest of the organization
3.3 Roles and Responsibilities
- Board Members: Strategic oversight, governance, and accountability
- Staff and Volunteers: Program implementation and community engagement
- All members: Upholding organizational values and policies
3.4 Meetings and Decision-Making
- Regular meetings shall be conducted with documented minutes
- Decisions shall be based on consensus or majority vote, as applicable
3.5 Financial Management
- Funds shall be used solely for organizational objectives
- Financial records shall be maintained accurately and transparently
- Misuse of funds will result in disciplinary action and legal consequences
3.6 Disciplinary Procedures
- Violations of policies may result in warnings, suspension, termination, or legal action
- All disciplinary actions shall follow fair and impartial procedures
3.7 Complaints and Reporting
- A safe and confidential mechanism shall be available to report misconduct
- Retaliation against whistleblowers is strictly prohibited
3.8 Amendments
- These policies may be reviewed and amended by the governing body
- Amendments must align with the mission and ethical standards of Peace and Humanity

All members, staff, volunteers, and representatives of Peace and Humanity are required to acknowledge, respect, and comply with this Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics, and Rules & Regulations as a condition of their association with the organization.
